1 Renovated from an old farmhouse the property has been completely restored and brought back to life in the 21st century but with the design firmly in keeping with the original materials of chestnut and original terracotta floors. The architect is from Sienna and used to renovating historic buildings which is why before he took on the project he was insistent on complementing old and new. Under floor heating has been installed throughout the house and air conditioning in the two main bedrooms. The original fireplace has been renovated in what we call the 'Snug' and a new kitchen and studio built onto the main house. We have renovated the property to provide a home for my family to enjoy the simple pleasures of the Tuscan way of life and we hope all our friends and acquaintances who we would like to enjoy Casa Lisa find it as relaxing and therapeutic as we do.


Casa Lisa Vineyard

  

Set in the ancient forest of Sassofortino between Siena in the North and Rome in the South Casa Lisa represents the perfect holiday location to enjoy the real essence of Italian village life void of a tourist environment but close enough for rich Italian history to be on call.

While Casa Lisa sits high in the hills overlooking the coast of Grosetto and the Marremma lovely sandy beachs are within striking distance to allow safe bathing where the forest meets the sea.

 Casa Lisa offers up to four people their own Italian Farmhouse set amongst Sangiovese grapes and vineyard.

Fly to either Rome or Pisa airports. Sassofortino is approx 1hr 30 from Pisa and 2hr.30 from Rome by car. Siena is 40min  away and Florence 1hr. Car hire  is recommended to explore the area. Flights can be booked through operators such as Thomson Fly, EasyJet and RyanAir
